Sylvia Lynne Bouchard

We have lost the family matriarch, as Lynne Bouchard passed peacefully at Penticton Regional Hospital on November 7, 2020. She was born Sylvia Lynne Goldsmith in Dodsland, Saskatchewan and was the eldest of seven kids born to William (Bill) and Florence Goldsmith. She had only recently said goodbye to her soulmate, Hank Bouchard (March 7, 1940 - August 7, 2020) and has gone to join him once again.

Lynne leaves behind her two devoted sons, Dale Fergusson and Danny (Joany) Fergusson; two step-daughters, Heather Bouchard and Carol (Darren) Jackson; ‘adopted’ daughters, Melissa and Jade. Another step-daughter who loved Lynne very much, Jackie Bouchard, predeceased her on March 9, 2020. Lynne had many life long friends who will miss her so much. As she came from a large family, she will also be missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.

Lynne knew what she wanted in life and was always forthright enough to say so. Hank 'n Lynne were inseparable and always made room for friends and family in their hearts and home. Much life was lived around the kitchen table or on the patio, with card games, music, drinks, stories, food and fun. Lynne’s sharp intelligence, witty humour, and welcoming presence will be hugely missed.
