Dear Bill: While trolling through our Golf & CC site releases, I was saddened to learn of Elinor's passing. She was a bright personable Lady, with a golf swing to be envied, and I enjoyed every outing with you two....After 65 years together, your days will now be so different. I hope to share a few cups of coffee, and perhaps even some time on the links when your new circumstances allow....My sincere condolences, of course, to you and yours.....Bill McLean

Marg, Kay, Liz, Bill and Bill Sr; What an honour it has been to know Elinor and to remember her incredible smile and sense of humour, and her endless heart in giving her family such a rich life. She will always be remembered by all those that she touched. Her lively personality has left a momentous impression in all of us. Sympathies from our family. Aunt Elinor will always be remembered for her great personality and genuineness... as well as being able to deal with the always hilarious Uncle Bill. I was with Marj and John Sinclair this morning when we read of Elinor's passing and we were recalling earlier times when we were all young and how active and vivacious Elinor was in those days.
My heart felt sympathy and concern go out to you and your family in the difficult days ahead. I do understand since I had this journey to make this past January when Bob passed away
Please accept my thoughts and concern and I'm sure the family is a great comfort and help to you at this very difficult time.
