Jody - So sorry to hear about your Mom - she was such a sweet little lady with a gorgeous smile. We just got back from our trip to Croatia, and are sorry we missed Joan's Celebration of Life. Her life was a gift to her family and many others.

I'm so sorry we can't be there to join in the Celebration of my favorite aunt's life. Our deepest condolences and best thoughts go out to Geoff, Bev, Jody and your families. Auntie Joan's passing brings back very fond memories of our summers in Penticton and Summerland. We will hoist a pint (or several) to Auntie Joan and Uncle John during our travels in Britain.

I just wanted to say what an honor it was to know Joan, and to have worked with her for so many years, as she volunteered as our pianist for church at the Village. She was such a fun, loving and giving person. She was so reliable.. she never missed a Thursday.. and she gave her gift of music to so many. Even as her dementia progressed, that wonderful loving spirit always shone through. i will miss her. xxjean
