Thinking of you with heartfelt sympathy and wishing we could be with you on Saturday to share our many memories of your "little Oma". She will be fondly remembered by many.
May you be comforted by God's love.
With love,

"Like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on HIs pinions." Deuteronomy 32:11
May you feel God's presence and peace.
No matter how often Tante Gretel started anew in her interesting life, she grew where she was planted. The domicle changed but her home was always a cozy and charming place, filled with her personality and hospitality, where she nutured old friends and welcomed new ones.
In 1984, in one of her many letters, she sent me this quote from Maria von Ebner-Eschenbach, " Die Menschen denen wir eine Stütze sind, geben uns den Halt in Leben". Dear Monika, because of you, your Mom was able to enjoy her senior years with as much independence as she wanted and as much care and support that she needed. God bless you. May you liebe Monika, and your family, Steve, Michael and Emily be comforted by the love and support of others.
Our heartfelt condolences and love, Caroline & Karl

What a beautiful small summary of the life of a beautiful woman.
Her most distinguishing feature? Her high lilting voice. My relationship with her consisted of visits, both in BC and Manitoba, letters to me and one notable one to my dog, and pleasant phone calls. She surprised me with gifts of old books, one was on Mozart, a composer we both enjoyed.
I know her passing has left a large hole in your life Monika. You were such a wonderful kind and patient daughter. I wish for the love of your family to hold you tight as you grieve this big loss. With love, Lori and Phil and family
